Overview
This is the 21 minute ab/core workout that you add on some days of Asylum Volume 2. It is completely core focused, and its goal is get you that ripped 6 pack.
The warm up begins with plank taps, where you are in a plank position and you tap your hands either in other ladder rungs or outside the ladder. Now you do In and Outs into the ladder, stand up, and do oblique twists. Next you got heel taps, where you sit at one end of the ladder and just tap your heels into the 2nd box, and then the 3rd box, and finally straight leg taps. Tricep press and v holds follow. Now you have oblique spiders, with a twist. You do a spider and make your foot tap the 1st box, then the 2nd, then the 3rd, and plank walk to the other side and repeat. Towards the end of the set, you do plank pulses to focus on all the abs. And now for some pyramid style training with V Hold and In & Out Abs. You do 1 v hold, then roll over and do 1 in & out, then 2 v holds, then roll over and do 2 in & outs, and so on. Now you have knee crossovers, where you have 1 leg off the ground straightened, and you come up and over and tap the other side with the opposite leg, then switch. After some elbow roll/knee taps, you get rid of the elbow rolls and just do knee taps.
The cool down focus' on stretching the core, its feels amazing after being attacked by all those angles.

The Review

Design
Ab Shredder is a complete ab devastator. You attacks your abs from all angles while it is also demolishing your obliques. The combination of hold movements plus the variation and pulses, makes all the best training techniques come into one workout to provide the best Ab Shredding workout! Personally, I think it is a step up from the Ab Ripper X's, due to its longer time and more active movements. This is a great workout that guarantees six pack abs while also building core strength by hitting the core from all angles in many different ways! There is one con, which is apparent in a lot ab workouts, and that is the absence of dumbbells. Although non dumbbell core exercises are great, the inclusion of dumbbells can greatly increase strength and stabilization  The dumbbell is a highly used tool in my personal ab/core workouts, because it is a great strength builder.
9.5/10

Difficulty
Any workout you do, if you give it your all, will be hard. That being said, some workouts still vary in difficulty in terms of the type of workout it is and the type of exercises you are doing. Ab workouts will be the death of me. This workout absolutely sets your core on fire. This is probably what those fire breathing entertainers feel like when they accidentally swallow their fire. This certainly is harder than the Ab Rippers, so stay focused and push through as this will be one intense workout.
